About the Wegovy Pregnancy Registry

A pregnancy registry is a study that collects health information from women who take prescription medicines when they are pregnant. Information is also collected on the newborn baby. This information is compared with women who have not taken medicine or have taken other medicines during pregnancy.

The goal of the Wegovy Pregnancy Registry is to help healthcare providers, patients, and researchers better understand the safety of Wegovy® (semaglutide 2.4 mg) and other weight loss medications during pregnancy. Pregnant women in the United States with a diagnosis of either obesity or overweight with at least one weight-related comorbidity may be eligible to participate. The study collects health information on pregnant women and their babies up to 1 year of age from enrolled pregnant women themselves and the healthcare providers involved in their care or the care of their babies.
